Description
Product: PRIVO Age Aware™ Minors’ Protection Registry (MPR) and Signal Service
In early 2025, PRIVO will introduce our new Age Aware™ Minors’ Protection Registry and Signal Service. This service is free to parents and minors and will enable association of a minors’ true age with specific devices and identifiers. Subscribing organizations will listen for our age aware signal, to confirm that the user requesting access meets the minimum age requirements. The service will provide companies with new, friction-free methods to know when a device requesting access or data being presented to their service belongs to a user that meets their minimum terms of service or which may trigger a need for additional permissions or consent. The goal of the service is to encourage and reward digital truth-in-age, reduce unintended access to adult content by children, reduce inappropriate adult access to minors, and eliminate barriers for companies to know when a minor is requesting access or providing data to their service.

- Companies Subscribing – total number and scope of companies subscribing to “listen” to the age aware signal, to confirm users accessing their services meet their minimum age requirements.
