Immersiva creates, produces and powers interactive children’s programming accessible through broadcasters, streaming providers and its own soon-to-be TVOD channel available on smart TVs and streaming devices in homes and classrooms. The programming’s interactive format promotes co-viewing and healthy screen time and uses play to create an active, social experience to nurture children’s holistic wellbeing. Through the power of playful storytelling, Immersiva aims to be the #1 creator and distributor of kids and family programming that supports mental and behavioral health.

2023-24 Action Plan

Description

Immersiva and its Chief Learning Officer, Roger Manix, commits to creating a new standard for children’s entertainment that promotes co-viewing and active learning away from the screen.

Measurement

Immersiva will measure achievement by testing the efficacy of our approach in 2024 and beyond.

Alignment

This commitment is aligned with the Inspired Internet Pledge principle “Tune for Emotional Wellbeing” as its focus is for us to create the healthiest viewing experience for kids and to encourage other creators in children’s entertainment to create healthier children’s programming that is social and active vs isolated and sedentary.

Description

Immersiva and its Head of Operations, Caroline Triay, commits to sharing best practices with content creators on how to create engaging children’s programming that adheres to the guidelines for healthy screen time outlined by The Digital Wellness Lab and The American Academy of Pediatrics.

Measurement

Immersiva will measure success through the number of creators that are producing children’s content following the guidelines mentioned above.

Alignment

This commitment is aligned to both the “Tune for Emotional Wellbeing” and “Share Lessons Collaboratively Across the Industry” principles as its goal is to encourage and educate others to offer healthier children’s programming that supports mental health and overall wellbeing.
