Boostability is a student platform powered by AI that empowers struggling college students to succeed through assignment breakdown, real-time accountability, and progress visibility.
Why this matters: Executive function challenges (the inability to break large tasks into steps, difficulty with time management, procrastination) are the number one reason capable students drop out, not lack of intelligence. This is especially true for the students we serve.
Who we serve: Students with and without ADHD, first-generation students, minorities, disabled students, neurodivergent learners, and adult learners returning to school. Many experience multiple barriers simultaneously. Traditional support systems assume students can self-advocate, access formal diagnosis,
or afford tutoring. Our AI doesn’t require any of that. It works for anyone struggling with executive function.
For academic leaders and faculty: Real-time early detection of struggling students. Predictive analytics on success trajectories. Automatic alerts when intervention is needed. Scalable infrastructure that supports students before they drop out.
The equity angle: The students we serve are exactly those higher education fails most. First-generation, minorities, disabled, and neurodivergent students have higher dropout rates. They face compounding barriers. Our AI closes equity gaps instead of widening them. It doesn’t discriminate based on diagnosis, income, or family support. It works for anyone.
Statement of Intent
We are focused on the following initiatives to uphold the Inspired Internet Pledge:
- Sponsor, host, and/or collaborate with other Pledge signatories/advisors on one/more thought leadership conversations related to Pledge principles
- Contribute to and/or actively engage in third-party research related to the Pledge principles
- Establish standards or policies focused on users’ mental health and wellbeing
